As we have said, it is a very special night. The event of the year, the party of the parties. Where we all take out our best looks to dazzle, but, don’t you know what to wear, take note!
Every year there are trends, and when it comes to New Year’s Eve. We bet on glitter and velvet, and the cut of the dress par excellence will always be the mini or midi dress, tight or flared skirt. But out of the dress, women’s tuxedos are a success, remember Carrie Bradshaw at her best friend’s wedding? a real show!
To accompany your guest outfit, lately we are seeing kimonos or kaftans with glitter, velvet or with some oriental print. You can always opt for a blazer with glitter or a fur coat to accompany your dress, jumpsuit or two-piece that you have chosen for the party.
We have the New Year’s Eve colors very fixed, and we always go for black. But our guests, black is joined by dark blue that feels wonderful, emerald green with sequins is simply without words, a sensual red that leaves us speechless and the classic metallics like silver or gold. Did you know that mustard is also a color that favors a lot in these dates?
For accessories, there are two options depending on your fabric. If you wear velvet or a plain fabric, opt for a clutch with rhinestone details to match your earrings, if on the other hand the fabric has glitter as sequins. We recommend that you take a bag with some oriental brocade or plain to match the stone of your earrings.
As for the shoes, we love the metallic colors like gold or silver. But we are also obsessed with those with rhinestones or feathers. As we said, depending on your dress you will wear a heeled shoe more striking or simpler, but always elegant!
Finally, makeup, it’s a night where your face will dazzle as much as a guest look. We love authenticity and naturalness, but girls, it’s New Year’s Eve, the smokey eye will always triumph in events as important as this one. Cover your eyelid with glitter, gather your hair in a high ponytail or sensual waves backwards, you’ll be the queen of the runway!
